NEIU Student Veterans Club Celebrates Veterans Day
WHAT: Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) Student Veterans Club will host a Veterans Day celebration to honor all who have served in the United States military. It will begin at 11 a.m. with an opening ceremony that will include posting of the colors, Taps and a dedication of a veterans’ memorial. It will be followed by a reception that includes a POW/MIA remembrance table and will conclude with a concert from 5-7 p.m. by Finbar Fagan in the Village Square.

DETAILS: The NEIU Student Veterans Club mission is to create unity as a group of Veterans who attend NEIU, to promote awareness of the unique needs of Veterans acclimating to an academic environment, and to develop, enhance, advance, meet, and share military experiences with students and faculty.
