Into the Woods auditions

“Into The Woods” Auditions at NEIU
WHAT: The Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) Music Department will hold open auditions for a spring 2009 production of Stephen Sondheim’s musical “Into The Woods.” The show intertwines the plots of several Brothers Grimm fairy tales and further explores the consequences of the characters’ wishes and quests.
No appointment is necessary. Prepare a musical theater song and bring sheet music in the correct key (audition song does not need to be from the musical). The production will take place April 1 – 4, 2009. Rehearsals begin Wednesday, January 14, 2009, with most scheduled for Wednesday evenings from 7-10 p.m.
Also seeking support positions including set, sound, lighting, and costume designers and technicians.
