NEIU Presidential Lecture Series to Present a Free Lecture
by Author Judith Ortiz Cofer
WHAT: As part of the Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) Presidential Lecture Series, author Judith Ortiz Cofer will provide a free public lecture about her literary works on January 15 at 1:40 p.m. in the NEIU Recital Hall.
Judith Ortiz Cofer is the author of novels, poetry, short stories, and essays. She has received numerous awards and honors for her writing, including the selection of her book The Latin Deli to the Georgia Top 25 Reading List by the Georgia Center for the Book. The Meaning of Consuelo was selected as one of two winners of the Américas Award in 2003.
This lecture will be free and open to the public.
WHEN: Thursday, January 15 at 1:40 p.m.
WHERE: Northeastern Illinois University Fine Arts Center Recital Hall 3701 W. Bryn Mawr Ave. in Chicago Parking permits are available for $5 in Lot H and the Parking Structure.
