As the Interim Director of NEIU-El Centro Campus, I have the privilege to be a key stakeholder in the development and implementation of NEIU-El Centro Campus programs and services. I received a B.A. in Sociology and an M.A. in Higher Education and Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University. I am currently pursuing a doctoral program in Policy Studies in Urban Education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. |

I am the Coordinator of Student Retention and Community Outreach. I am fortunate to be able to work and serve students in different areas such as: academic advising, admissions and recruitment. As the community outreach coordinator, I work on building relationships with local organizations to create collaborations to offer services to our students and the community at large.I received a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Media from Universidad La Salle del Bajío, Leon, México and a Master of Arts in Community Development from North Park University in Chicago, Illinois. |

I am the Coordinator of Technology Resources and responsible for computer networking issues, computer lab maintenance, classroom technology maintenance, help with technology related questions with student, staff or faculty. I also do the website development/maintenance, all NEIU-ELC publications, inventory, and liaison to the NEIU's main campus and assist the director and co-workers with other initiatives. As the Coordinator of Academic Support Services, I have the honor of doing academic advising, admissions and recruitment. Some of my other responsibilities include being chair of the Latino Student Leadership Conference, serving as student organization advisor for Student Alliance for Leadership and Education, and overseeing the Serve and Learn volunteer program. I received a B.A. in Psychology from Northern Illinois University and an M.A. in Higher Education and Leadership from Northeastern Illinois University. |

As the Coordinator of NEIU-El Centro Campus my responsibilities include being an academic advisor, provide information about the university through recruitment, admitting prospective students, and work with departments for our course offerings. Other responsibilities include overseeing the GUidance, Inspiration, and Academic Support (G.U.I.A.S.) Mentoring Program. I have the privilege of being able to provide quality services and resources to the NEIU community. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Northeastern Illinois University in Social Work with a minor in Sociology and my Master’s degree from University of Illinois at Chicago in Social Work with a concentration in Child and Family. |
