International Partnership
In 2005, NEIU-El Centro assisted the University to identify potential international partnerships in Latin America. As a result of efforts from the Office of International Programs and NEIU-El Centro, officials from the University of Guanajuato, Mexico visited NEIU in October 2005. The visit turned out to be very productive for both Universities; accordingly, a partnership agreement was signed in the spring 2006 to collaborate on programs that will provide international opportunities for our students, faculty, and staff. Already students, faculty and staff have visited the University of Guanajuato (UGTO). In 2007, UGTO students are expected to study at NEIU.
