Domestic Violence Photography Exhibit Framing Safety
(Battered Women's Photographic Representations of Life on the Safety- Danger Continuum)
This photography exhibit illustrates the inner strength and courage of women survivors of violence. (This event is open to the public).
Through women’s photo-narratives, this exhibit explores the complexities of abusive relationships, the inner strength required to rebuild their lives, the pain of being disenfranchised by their communities and cultures, and the legal obstacles that inhibit their ability to create a safe life for themselves and their children.
