Professor Eze earned a Ph.D. in English and Philosophy, and MFA (fiction) from Purdue University in 2003. Most recently, he was visiting assistant professor of English and Comparative Literature at the University of California, Los Angeles. Professor Eze is a specialist in cultural, aesthetic and literary theories. He teaches African, African-American and Multicultural literatures. His book, The Dilemma of Ethnic Identity, was published in December 2005.

He has also taught for, and been associated with, various sites of the National Writing Project. And no, that's not Chi in the picture--that's Alain Locke, on whose work he has written extensively.
