Professor Bruce-Kinnebrew (Debra Bruce) is the author of three books of poetry, most recently What Wind Will Do, published by Miami University Press. Her poems have appeared in such journals as The Ameican Poetry Review, The North American Review, Poetry, and The Virginia Quarterly Review, and she has received grants in writing from the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Illinois Arts Council. Most recently, her poem "Childhood" appeared in the April 2004 issue of The Atlantic Monthly.
