Chicago Academic Standard: Apply place value when working with whole numbers.
Curriculum Framework Statement: Read, write, order, name and rename numbers through 999 and identify the value of their digits.

Materials: Number cubes, number cards.
Activity: Students are given number cards and create graphic representations of the numbers using ones, tens and hundreds cubes.
Evaluation: Students will be able to identify the value of a given number with 80% accuracy. |
