1. MAKING PATTERNS WITH UNIFIX CUBES

 

State Goal 8: Identify and describe patterns and relationships in actual data, as well as solve problems and predict results using algebraic methods, symbols, tables, graphs, calculators and computers.

Chicago Academic Standard: Describe and construct mathematical patterns using manipulatives (e.g. blocks and shapes), numbers, and words.

Curriculum Framework Statement: Create simple patterns using shapes and be able to explain and justify the patterns.
