Here you will find links for several important items you might need for your clinical experiences. A time line of expected activities and events can be found by clicking here. If you wish to leave information about sites that are looking for interns, contact the Coordinator of Clinical Experiences. If you are in the process of looking for a current site, go to the Clinical Experiences web link.  CLICK HERE  to  find an opening.   Please note: Most of the sites on the web link have been used by our students in the past.  They are sites that are familiar with our standards and with our requirements.  However, just because a site is listed here, it is not an indication that they will permit you to do your clinical experience there, nor is it a guarantee that you will have the same experience as past students, should you be accepted. Clinical experience is a "fit" between the student, staff, agency and their policies, and the current context of situations.  It is still your responsibility as a prospective student intern to check out the agency to see if they are a match for you, and for them to do the same.  It is our suggestion that you try to secure a placement at several different sites, and then make a choice.  The linked site is meant to be a beginning place for exploration.  You may download a copy of the current Northeastern Illinois University Department of Counselor Education Practicum and Internship Handbook by clicking here.  The Handbook has copies of the Application Form, and the Cooperative Agreement Form.
