Tournament InformationThe NEIU Chess Club recently organized its first open chess tournament, held Saturday April 26th in the Ronald Williams Library. Eighteen Club members competed in a five round Swiss tournament with G/30 time control. Congratulations to David Rubin, David Williams, and Saad Ahsan, who took the top three places, in that order. Special thanks to Adnan Shamoon for running the tournament, Steven Searle for providing extra chess sets, and David Rubin for providing all the photographs below.
